 Dyson DC04, DC07, DC08, DC14, DC19 YDK Vacuum Cleaner Motor (M044)
At last - Good Customer Service!
All's well after replacing motor in DC08T model. Video instructions on line are absolutely magnificent. Disappointed that I couldn't pick up unit from warehouse - had to wait over a weekend but Austpost (for once!) delivered promptly. (Posted on 22/04/16)

Vacuumspot saved my Dyson DC08 machine when Dyson would not ...
After calling Dyson and discovering from them that they no longer service my 9 1/2 year old DC08 vacuum cleaner (instead Dyson offered me a 30% discount on a new machine). No thanks Dyson, I originally paid big $$$ for the Dyson machine because I expected it to last me a lifetime, and be serviced throughout it's lifetime ...

Thankfully, I Googled "how to dismantle the DC08 vacuum machine" ...

In doing so I came across a very helpful video featuring Alex from Vacuumspot in which he explained exactly how to dismantle the machine and put it back together again. He even had made a separate video on how to dismantle and clean the radix assembly.

I ordered the motor and it arrived in the mail a few days later, I put the machine back together using Alex's instructions and my machine is back working again.

Thanks very much Vacuumspot for saving the day (Posted on 25/03/16)

Excellent service and product knowledge
Our DC05 motor burnt out and the local manufacturer repair facility was not interested in offering any repair option but was keen to sell us a new vacuum at a "discount price". We found the vacuumspot web page and quickly ascertained that the parts required were available and at a price less than the discount being offered for a replacement machine. The order was processed and dispatched quickly with excellent package tracking information provided.
Replacing the damaged motor and installing the new filters was a simple task and we now have a better than new machine with a 1600 watt motor replacing the original 1350 watt motor. The lady of the house thinks I am a genius and hasn't stopped smiling since first switching the vacuum cleaner back on.
Vacuumspot has been a great company to deal with and I am very pleased to know that they will be there when or if required in the future. Thank you Scott! (Posted on 17/03/16)
