Now I'm not sure if I am going to be able to convey the thrill that this project actually is, but I'll give it a red hot go.  We have so many enquiries about the ins and outs of all the vacuum goodies we stock, so we have decided to respond proactively with some low-budget, yet highly informative one minute videos that talk you through the stuff we sell.  Now I know it's not rocket science, but I also know that everyone wants to be confident they got the right product the first time.  These videos will help with that. Nilfisk vacuum bags are our starting point, and the videos are multiplying like rabbits.

Actually recording the videos is a blast!!! Standing there in our makeshift “studio” (AKA shed with a fancy banner), oozing “charisma” (AKA faking confidence and experience), whilst offering a “clear and concise” explanation of these dust bags (AKA trying to maintain speech in my native English language), is trickier than it may sound.  The heat of the “studio lights” (AKA Bunnings spotties) is dwarfed only by the intensity of their brightness, making me truly appreciate how that ill-fated deer in the headlights feels.  Overcoming that taser-esque feeling of being stunned to silence, to somehow produce a genuinely useful video is a skill that eludes me to date.  As my dad used to say, “Yes you are trying … very trying…”

So perhaps this post should be an apologetic plea that you, my vacuum cleaning friends, forgive me for my early attempts at vacuum cleaner stardom, and look on my efforts as charming and endearing, reflective of my passion to serve you to my utmost.
