Dyson DC08 lost suction? Maybe it’s a blockage in the Radix assembly.
Like all good marketing claims eg “this vacuum will never lose suction” there is usually an exception.
In the case of the Dyson dc08 it could be caused by a blockage in the radix assembly. The only trouble is that unfortunately you cannot tell if this is the problem until you take it apart (or take it to someone else who can).
Here are a couple of pictures of the insides of a radix assembly - Blocked of course.Anyway since it is not really that easy to describe how to take it apart I thought I would make it super easy and shoot a video for you. Dont forget to check your dyson dc08 filters too.

The basic features of the ZUA3860 are quite impressive on paper.
2100W motor
Remote control on handle
Aero Pro power nozzle
Aero Pro hard floor nozzle
Bagless Cyclonic system
9 Meter Cord
Soft ride wheels
Hepa H12 filter
But how does this convert to everyday (or weekly if your like our family) vacuuming?
I think it is fair to say that not all claims made in advertising are necessarily 100% open and honest reflection of whatever they are advertising. I am thinking of the "look 10 years younger in just seven days" that some make up or moisturisers claim. The "healthy" diet friendly claims of many fast food chains etc etc.
I have spent quite a bit of time both working on (repairs) and testing this machine in normal use. My impressions of this machine are generally good although I do have

The Dyson DC04 is getting on in age now but it is still a very good vacuum. If looked after properly it will continue for many more years. I was released over a decade ago but even if you bought it straight off the bat you could be using it right up to 2015 with a bit of maintenance. The video is titled How To Check The Dyson DC04 Roller Brush Bearings.
If your Dyson has worn brush roller bearings it will make the brush difficult to turn and may also cause the clutch to motor belt to stretch or it can cause the clutch to engage. The clutch engaging is a difficult sound to describe but it is a loud ratcheting sound.
The bearings on the brush roller are size 625 which

Ok so I am reviewing this as Smart Alec the vacuum technician.

- crevice nozzle
- Turbo head
- Standard

The Wertheim 5030, 5035 and 6030 were all top of the range machines that happen to use the same hose. As a very relevant side point the hose machine end (bit that connects the vacuum hose to the vacuum) had a tendancy to break the side lugs off the fitting. So what you need to do is replace the Wertheim 5030 hose machine end. I have just uploaded a quick video showing how to replace just this end part so you don't have to replace the entire hose which will save you about $150.
Here is the problem we are going to fix

The Wertheim 5030 vac is considered by many as one of the best vacuum cleaners in the world, which is why most owners would prefer to have theirs fixed or have some parts replaced rather than replace the entire unit with a new one. Wertheim models in general are quite reliable, though there are some things you need to do for their upkeep like get new filters for the vacuum cleaner.
Another thing you may have to do is change your machine’s motor. After years of use and natural wear and tear, it’s inevitable for the motor to degrade in performance. If this is the case, you’ll have to replace the motor with a new one.
While we currently don’t have a video for replacing a motor on a Wertheim 5030 vac, we can offer you this step-by-step guide. The process is fairly easy, so you shouldn’t have much of a problem following

This is a dilemma in which you may find yourself when it comes to household appliances, including vacuum cleaners. When it comes to this, a sub-question that may even pop up is ‘Do I just need to repair the equipment and get new vacuum cleaner filters, or do I need to buy a new cleaner?’
Many are conflicted when it comes to deciding between the two

The Electrolux Ultracaptic vacuum cleaner is one of the best bagless vacuum cleaners out there primarily because it delivers exactly what it promises: powerful cleaning and hygienic disposal. The latter is achieved through its innovative Compact & Go solution, which is basically a dust bin that allows you to compress collected dust and dirt before disposal. By being made more compact, dust and dirt are less likely to fly around once you go to empty the bin, and the easy release handle ensures you never have to reach into the bin to empty it ever again.
Powerful cleaning is delivered through advanced multicyclonic technology, along with two

Wondering when to replace a vacuum bag? Unsure of how to know when a vacuum bag is full? "What kind of vacuum bag do I need," you may ask? Vacuum cleaner bags need replacements from time to time – some more often than others, depending on the type of cleaner, how often or how much the cleaner is used and the size of the bag itself. Since the need for replacement is different from one cleaner and one owner to another, some may get confused when it comes to changing a vacuum bag.
Although this may seem like a simple matter, surprisingly many owners are apprehensive about exactly when they should replace the bag on their machines. It can be difficult to determine when you have a
